My annual Year In Review Workshop is Open!

Happy happy Saturday!

It’s a cold, rainy day here in SF, but to be honest, I am so enjoying all the slowness and coziness that the rain brings.I’m bundled in a bulky sweater, drinking hot chocolate, have a candle lit, and I get the time and space to write to you!

This morning I finished my annual Year In Review that I do for myself each year, and I wanted to take a few minutes to write about my process and why I’ve found it to have such an impact on the course of my life.

A few years ago, I had an urge to really analyze my year–to sit down and write down everything I did – month by month – and ask my intuition to tell me where I was aligned with my best path and where I was not.

Was I spending my time in ways that truly made me happy?

Was I spending my time with people who truly lit me up and left me feeling joyful?

Was I focused on the right things in my business – the ones that made me excited to get out of bed in the morning?

Of course I can’t control everything that happens in my life, but was I giving myself my best chance at having happy, meaningful days (which then lead to happy, meaningful months and years)?

So I went to my favorite hotel in NYC, sat by the fireplace, and began a deep dive into my year.

I’ll never forget how eye-opening it was.

When I got really, really honest with myself, and gave myself the SPACE for my intuition to speak, I saw so clearly what was working and what was not.

I saw where I was being called to expand in my business and where I was being called to change.

I realized certain people who I no longer felt pulled to spend as much time with, and others with whom I wanted to invest more of myself and my time.

I learned SO much about myself – about what I loved, about what situations I thrived in, and about what my soul was yearning for.

And then I decided, right then and there, to take action on those things. Rather than shut my notebook and carry on with my day, I held myself accountable to take action immediately. To push myself to evolve, right then and there. To honor myself, even though some of it felt scary and new and different.

I believe that our intuition is always speaking to us – whispering clues about when we are aligned with our “happiest path”, and when we are not.

Our intuition is often guiding us through how we feel.

Feeling joyful, lit up, inspired, and excited indicates a “yes, this is working for me–more, please.”

Feeling drained, heavy and small indicates that we may be veering away from our truest path.

The reason I had an urge a few years ago to really PAUSE and analyze my year was because I really wanted to give myself the opportunity to check in with my truest self.

I wanted to pause and check-in so that I could lean in to more of what I loved.

I wanted to pause and check-in so that I could course-correct where I was out of alignment.

I wanted to pause so that I could listen to my soul, hear guidance, and design my next year from that wise, intuitive place.

Each year, I look forward to taking a few hours to do my Year In Review process.

The process is about shutting your brain down for a hot second and letting your soul and inner wisdom speak.

It’s about taking a moment to get to know and honor who you are TODAY, not who you were a year ago or two years ago.

It’s about getting honest with yourself about how much joy you’re allowing into your life.

It’s about creating empowered changes that will help you feel even more fulfilled and lit up in the next year.

It’s about doing everything you can to give yourself the best shot at loving your life, as much as possible.

So, with that, I want to invite you to join me in my virtual Year In Review workshop this year, taking place this Monday January 7th at 7pm ET. I ran it last year for the first time and it was such a blast.

As soon as you sign up, you’ll receive my beautifully designed 22-page Year In Review guide. There’s about 30 minutes of pre-work for you to do before our workshop on Monday, and then we will go through the rest of the process together over Zoom (video conference).

For the first hour, we’ll go through the whole process, doing it together side-by-side, and then I’ll open the session up for questions and coaching. You’ll have me there to help you strategize about your year and help you work through any obstacles or challenges you may be facing.

We have a great group of women already signed up, and I do hope you’ll give yourself the gift of joining us.

In our world today, we hardly ever have the chance to slow down. To pause. To breathe. To listen to our souls.

This is that chance for you and I feel so honored to have the opportunity to guide you through this.

I’d love for you to check out all of the details and register here.

If you have any questions at all, email me at jamie@jamiemendell.com and I’ll be sure to get back to you.

Lots of love,

Jamie
