Big Soul Retreat 2017: For Female Entrepreneurs!

Imagine living in a gorgeous estate overlooking the ocean.

A private chef cooking you nourishing, healthy meals for 4 days.

Waking up to morning yoga out on the deck, a gentle way to say hello to your body before a big day.

Getting “good morning” hugs from women who genuinely want to get to know you, support you, and care for you.

Workshops throughout the days where you get to sit back, learn, ask questions, and feel like a “student” again.

Going on afternoon hikes out in the sunshine, breathing in the open air.

Evening meditation and candlelight ceremonies, helping you go inward and get to your next level.

Family dinners with so many laughs.

As entrepreneurs, we need these kinds of experiences to thrive.

Our days are filled with decisions, being in control, having to run the show at all times, and let’s be honest… sometimes quite a bit of fear, doubt, and overwhelm.

We chose this path because our soul pulled us toward it and we know it’s what we’re meant to be doing… but that doesn’t mean it comes without struggle.

You know and I know that this work takes serious grit.

Thick skin.
Failing and pulling yourself back up.
Doubting yourself and searching deep within you for that sliver of reassurance that you’re doing the right thing.
Comparing yourself to others.
Sometimes dealing with financial concerns and feeling that intense anxiety in your chest when you’re not sure how it’s going to work out.
Constantly selling yourself and your work — and the discomfort, vulnerability, and uncertainty involved.

Having your own business is not for the faint of heart.

If it were, everyone would be doing it.

You’re so incredibly brave.

I love you for going for it.

AND… it’s so important that you have a TON of support while venturing down this path.

We all need it (coming from someone who has 3 coaches!).

Lots and lots and lots of it.

To be this brave, to endure all of the uncertainty and instability, to be this creative and innovative… we need a solid foundation.

And where does that foundation come from?

A lot of things…

It comes from having a network of women who have our backs. Who we can call when we’re trembling in vulnerability after we launch a new product, unsure if anyone will buy it. Women who can see things within us and our businesses that we simply cannot see for ourselves. Women who can point out our strengths and hold us accountable for what we REALLY want to be doing.

It comes from constantly being a student, and learning. There is so much to learn about growing a business. There are practical best practices, strategies, and models to study. And it’s equally as important to know how to tap into OURSELVES, getting in touch with our deepest yearnings so we can create a business that is in alignment with our strengths, souls and hearts.

It comes from taking exceptional care of our bodies. Moving them, getting IN to them, knowing what they need, feeding them delicious food, getting them in nature, getting them in the sunshine. Sitting on our laptops all day limits our ability to tap into the wisdom and vitality that lives within our bodies.

It comes from slowing down enough to be reinvigorated and inspired, over and over again. We expect ourselves to come up with ideas, be in our creative zone, and flow, yet we often don’t create the environment to be able to thrive in that way. We work hard, for long hours, and feel stressed and overwhelmed… which essentially creates a setting for our creativity and flow to be shut down. When we slow down and relax, inspiration flows.

Last year, my friend and amazing business owner Libby Crow, and I created a retreat for female entrepreneurs called Big Soul.

Our mission was to bring together ambitious, soulful, amazing women from all over the world to rejuvenate together, all under one roof.

We stayed in a gorgeous house in Big Sur, CA, and spent 4 days running the most incredible Retreat.
It was one of my favorite experiences of my life, hands down.

I feel so passionately about this because WE NEED this!

We need time to get away.
To fill up our souls.
To connect face-to-face with other women.
To take care of ourselves so we can go back into our businesses and lives feeling invigorated.

So we are running the Big Soul Retreat again this year… this time in Santa Barbara, CA.

And we would love to have you there.
We’d love to give you morning hugs.
To help you grow your business.
To support you getting to your next level, in your life and in your business.

To my fellow female entrepreneurs… I invite you to take a peek at all that we are offering you this year… it’s going to be the most amazing weekend away, and I am so so excited to get to meet some of you there!

If you have any questions at all about this experience, of course just reply and let me know.

Lots of love,

P.S. Here’s what a few of the women from Big Soul last year said about their experience…

“Big Soul was an opportunity for me to rest and rejuvenate in the most beautiful environment with the most beautiful group of incredibly bright, talented, and heart-warming women. It was medicine for the soul and a reminder of exactly why I chose to live this life and start a business in the first place. Thank you Jamie and Libby!” – Amanda Morgan, Healthy Wifestyle

“Big Soul was really life changing for me. I got just what I needed: a rejuvenated body and inspired mind ready to make shifts happen. Honestly, it was just what I needed to get that fire under my butt and make the life changes that I’ve been putting off due to limiting beliefs.” – Amanda Gyuran,

“I’d recommend Big Soul to heart-centred women who are ready to get REAL & RAW because ALL kinds of magic can happen when you allow it and take the opportunity to invest in yourself. The environment is SO key to transformation, and everything about this retreat is magical…on every level. You won’t return home the same woman!” -Caitlin McCarthy, Caitlin McCarthy
